Full - Day Montessori:

8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

    Designed specifically for children of working parents, this program combines the educational elements of the traditional Montessori class with the advantages of full-day care. It is available to a  limited number of children enrolled in classes and includes lunch, naps and planned afternoon activities Montessori teachers supervise this program and are on site to ensure continuity.

(This program operates on some non-school days. Please see school calendar.)

Occasional Urgent Time:

     The OUT program is a service offered to families when there is a need for children to arrive early and/or remain at school beyond the time of their regular class. It is available for any child enrolled in the Children's House (3-6) or Elementary level before school and from 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Early Arrival OUT Card: Children may arrive between 8:00 a.m. and 8:40 a.m. until the expiration of this card. The cost per card is $60.00 for 10 hours of early morning care.

After School OUT Card: Children enrolled in Extended Day program or our Elementary/Middle School classes may remain at school after 3:30 p.m. until as late as 5:30 p.m. The cost per card is $60.00 for 10 hours of after-school care.

This program is NOT AVAILABLE when the school is closed for holidays, noon dismissal. parent conferences, spring break, etc.

After School Programs:

     For parents interested in providing their children with structured activities after school, Ghent Montessori offers its After School Program service that welcomes both our students and children  from the community. We contract each year with specialists of various enrichment activities and classes are offered on an optional basis after regular school hours. In the past, the agenda has included karate, music, sports, drama, chess, computer, sculpture, pottery, recorder, etc.
